How to develop a Travel Plan with SWELTRAC
The first step is to contact one of the SWELTRAC Travel Plan Co-ordinators to arrange an initial meeting. We will come to meet you at your site to further discuss how we can assist you in developing the travel plan. We will discuss the current travel situation at your site and the facilities available.
The next stage will be for us to survey your staff to find out how they currently travel to work, and what could encourage them to use more sustainable alternatives. This survey can take place online, in paper or a combination of the two. The travel plan co-ordinator will develop your travel survey for you and you will have the option to review the questions or add some of your own if required.
Once your travel surveys are complete we will analyse them and use the results to make recommendations and determine your future targets. We will meet with you again to explain the results before finalising the travel plan. SWELTRAC will assist in implementing your action plan and we have a number of FREE initiatives available to our partner businesses.
After finalising your bespoke workplace travel plan, the SWELTRAC team can assist in launching it to your staff, providing information, maps and merchandise and by being on hand to answer any questions.
The team is available to give ongoing support as we want the travel plan to be a success going forward. We will send through information on any new initiatives that we are running and advise on events taking place in your area. We would also like to resurvey your staff after a pre-determined period of time, to see if there is anything else we can do to further improve your travel situation.
