Electric vehicles

Since 2007, SWELTRAC has been working with Transport for London and other partners to install a series of electric vehicle charging points across the south and west London sub-region.

Nineteen charging units have been installed in six of our partner Boroughs and electric vehicle users can register to use any of these points. If you live or work in one of the SWELTRAC boroughs you can apply for membership of our Electric Vehicle Charging Point scheme by using the registration forms found on our documents page. Registered users of the SWELTRAC scheme may also use any of the Elektrobay charging points located in the City of Westminster.

SWELTRAC is working closely with Transport for London to support the ambitions of the Mayor of London to see 25,000 charging points installed by 2015 and the use of 100,000 electric vehicles in the capital by 2020.
