Funding

Since 1995 SWELTRAC has been successful in attracting significant levels of funding from Government and its partners for project development and implementation of public transport proposals. These have been aimed at improving movement across the south and west London area by all modes of transport. Our current funding comes from Transport for London, although we are keen to seek additional funding opportunities with other partners in both the public and private sectors.
Much of our expenditure has been concentrated in town centres, industrial estates and at rail interchanges with measures including forecourt improvements, improved signing and cycle parking facilities. Public transport interchange improvement has been a key priority since 1998.

Funding 1995 to 2009
