Electric Vehicle Charging Points Project
SWELTRAC are currently working with Transport for London, Elektromotive and EDF energy to install a number of Elektrobay electric vehicle charging points across the south and west London sub-region.
Twelve charging units have been installed in four of our partner Boroughs which are now live since August 13th, 2008 and Electric Vehicle users can now register to use them.If you live or work in one of the four boroughs above you can apply for use of these Electric Vehicle Charging Points by using the registration forms below:

We will be looking to conduct another launch event at one of the Royal Borough of Kingston charging points in early Summer to correspond with these new charging points going live. Following this people working or living in these boroughs will be able to register for use of these charging points. London Borough of Hillingdon and Royal Borough of Kingston application forms will also be available in the near future.
SWELTRAC is now also sitting on an Electric Vehicles Working Group organised by TfL. This group meets bi-monthly to discuss various issues relating to future installations, promotion of Electric Vehicles and other issues such as reciprocal use of charging points in neighbouring boroughs and regions.
